I signed a credit application, and sent in one month’s rent to hold apartment. How do I get deposit back?

The credit application did not state I would not receive my deposit back if I did not take apartment. I lost my job and could not take apartment, owner refuses to return my deposit, what rights do I have, and how do I go about getting this deposit returned?

Is it reported to the credit agency, does the owner set the interest rate, will you get a deed like you do when you use a bank?

How can I pay my rent and get cash back?

You know how some credit cards have cashback bonuses for purchases? I want to find a way to do that for my rent… But writing cash advance checks don’t count towards this, and my landlord doesn’t accept credit cards. Does anybody know of a checking account program or billpay system that would give cashback rewards on paying my rent?

What would U do if neighbor put his house 4 sale below value after he found out you were planning sale in 08?

My Neighbor seemingly innocently asked me if I was putting my house up for sale after he saw painters leaving … I said,”yes’ I am selling next year. In less than a month he put his house on the market for 20 below market value .. Siting priced for quick sale on the listing …. For some reason it bugs me because I know he was not planning to sell until I told him that I was planning to go. I would never have sold below market value as am aware that would harm neighbors .. What would you do ? Thanks for the help

What Southern California beaches can you rent boogie boards on?

Can I sell to a rental agency but not rent back?

I need to sell my flat. There is none or very little equity in the house (due to current financial climate)
If I sell it normally, I have to pay for all the estate agent, solicitor fees etc etc which I can afford & cant claim back from profits made on house (as I doubt there will be enough)

I have heard of sell & rent back agencies, but I dont want to rent it back… if they take it off my hands & cover the legal fees i’d be happy.

Is there anywhere that does that? (UK)
