quick house sale

In talking with people, the general consensus is that agents are more iterested in having you discount your home so that they can get a quick sale. However, I’m not in the business of giving away my house……since I paid for it. Anyways, does anyone know a good real estate company and/or real estate agent servicing the Lowell, Massachusetts area—-who will actually WORK, to wit: open houses, feedback, etc……..Thanks.

What is Repossession and How to Stop It?

Filed under: repossessions — admin @ 9:47 pm

Repossession is a legal process that occurs when a lender obtains a court order to take possession of a property due to non-payment of the mortgage. When you buy something on credit, the person you owe the money to be called the creditor. When you buy on credit, or get a loan to buy something, you will sign an agreement giving the creditor the right to take the item back if you miss payments. The property that can be taken is called collateral. When your creditor takes the goods back it is called repossession.

If you’re facing repossession problems, you must act quickly. Losing your home might be a nightmare for your family. Try to take this matter very seriously. The issuance of possession proceedings is just the start of a series of legal processes, and if correct action is taken, repossession can be stopped. People face repossession problem because of Illness, Redundancy, and Reduction in income, financial over-commitment, and financial mismanagement.

Repossession may affect people in many ways; affects the quality of their life, future is not secured, lot of impact on family relationships, change in the social status. To stop repossession you can do certain things like selling the house on your own and move to another house, re-mortgage the house, or you can sell the house to a property trader who will rent it back to you and so you can still stay there.

Repossession problems generally arise when you are not able to manage your debts properly. You can reduce your debt by consolidating your debt. Try to reduce your interest charges, prevent court action, reduce your monthly repayments etc. you can manage your debts by having an Individual voluntary Agreement. An IVA is an agreement wherein you and your creditors try to find a solution wherein you pay an amount that you can afford each month, so that your home is protected. Generally the duration of IVA is 60 months and on completion, the debt that is left is written off, leaving you debt free. But only Insolvency Practitioners are allowed to propose and manage an IVA.

You can stop repossession if you show your lender or court other ways through which you can pay your mortgage. Nowadays insurance company do provide mortgage protection plan which can help the lender in paying the mortgage amount. Even if you are ill or become unemployed etc you can pay the mortgage amount. If you have a lender who is ready to charge you a much lower interest rate than your own lender then you can think of remortgage.

Sell House Fast to Score a Point Over your Debt-ridden Situation

Filed under: quick sale — admin @ 9:31 pm

Several factors may come together to urge one to take the step of selling one’s house. Some of the reasons other than apparent financial difficulties can be divorce, illness, property inheritance and the like. It usually comes when you are trying to cope up with a situation which pops out of the blue to disarrange your normal life. And it is a change as such that usually requires cash for its resolution. Quick house sale is the recognised financial scheme to go about it when one needs to sell one’s house fast.

Likewise, if you have emigration plans, you may ideally want to sell your house. But then again, you surely would not want to do it in a traditional house selling mode through a common real estate agent. This is because it can take over six months at times, while you find yourself entangled in a sale chain. This is too slow a procedure, where there are several negotiations and formalities to be completed. And when the sale chain is long, you know what happens. It can collapse at any time due to disagreements or simply miscommunication or due to any one link in the chain not living upto his commitments. This not only results in a lot of time-waste as the procedure stretches on and on, it also causes frustration as much the uncertainty factor creeps in.

In today’s times, one needs to sell house fast. Situations are dynamic where you need to resolve things fast. It is no wisdom to linger on, hoping to finally make a sale, dependent on your real estate agent. It may be too late before you finally manage a sale.

With a quick sale scheme, you get a sale before the cows come home. In fact, it can be as quick a time, as a single day. So, within twenty four hours, you have the cash in your hands. To sell house fast thus, you can contact the special property agents online and then enjoy the quick affair.

Is 7% on the first $100,000 and 3% on the remainder a good commision for a real estate agent to sell my house?

I’m in Edmonton Alberta Canada so advice on this area would be best. My house is going up for sale for $330,000 so commission would be about $14,000 which to me seams like alot for what is going to be a very quick sale most likely for the agent. Our house is in very good condition for selling has been extensively renovated and we’re going for a reasonable price. The agent thought we should price the house between $330k and $345k and we went with the lower to sell it fast. It seems to me that our agent is going to get a very quick sale for alot of commission. I would think the fact that we’re not being greedy and overpricing our house means the agent should drop his commission as this should be an easy sale for him. What do you think? Is the commission fair? Should I try get him to go lower? Is bargaining for a lower commission something that is done regularly or would it just be a joke to him? Help please.
How exactly do the RE agents split the commission, is it 50/50? What would be a fair commission to go for? I don’t want to screw the agent, I just don’t want to pay $14,000 for what will be just 3-4 days of work assuming the house sells at the open house which the agent thinks fairly likely at the price.
daeve for the couple of days I don’t mean to “closing” ie there would still be conditions to meet such as mortgage approval and inspection etc. In my area correctly priced homes close in about 2-3 weeks recently. The market is making a recovery here and didn’t fall nearly as much as it did in the US. We didn’t really have a “housing crisis” here like in the states.

sell rent back

I bought my house in march this year and sometime in november next year one of several situations will happen. I will either be going to a school for a couple of months out of state for another job and will come back to live in my house which is what i want to do or after the school will be stationed to live somewhere else which what i dont want. Or even worse i will just get out of the military in november next year if i dont get the job. So my question is should i sell and if so when? Should i rent through a property manager even tho my mortgage is 1450 a month? or just wait it out and see what happens later.

My friends son-in-law had his parents coming to visit him from California to Illinois. They were stranded in Wyoming and told the car cost too much to fix. so he drove in a rented vehicle from Illinois to Wyoming to pick them up and bring them to Illinois. How much do you think it cost to rent this mini van for a couple of days? I think he should take them back to California. What do you think?
To be exact, it is 1020 miles each way. I personally could not believe they plan to bring them back to Illinois for a mere 6 days.
