My partner and I are being evicted and need a new place pretty sharpish. It would need to be cheap because I can’t work due to disability, he only works 10 hours a week so he can look after me, and our benefits payuments are currently suspended. We have an income of just £53… and not much in the way of savings. My dad has said he can lend us about £500, but no more (he is disabled himself and doesn’t have much to give).
SO! Question is, where in the UK would it be cheapest to rent? preferably not a dump, but we’re not looking for luxury either, just a roof over our heads and a bed to lay on. Anything else would be a bonus at this point.
